Hey everyone, I'm a big Oxfam supporter and a Coldplay fan. Just noticed that an online auction site called Charity Folks is auctioning off VIP tickets to each of the North American shows with the money going to Oxfam. Here is a direct link http://www.charityfolks.com/coldplay. :)

I did that before but with Amnesty International. The seats were good but not front row or anything. If you want a good seat and are willing to pay over face value then this is the way....you get great seat... Oxfam gets money ...and ticket scalpers can go get fucked! :D

I was seated section second closest to the stage on X&Y tour. It's just cool because your name gets put on the "Coldplay guest list" :P

I e-mailed Charity Folks, and they said the seats will be either first few rows or first section right of the stage. They said they are best available from Coldplay's allotment.

What happens when your name gets put ont he Coldplay guest list? Do you get to meet them or anything? Or go backstage?

I saw these auctions were doing really well. Some shows are still at their opening amounts. Someone will definitely get a great deal for the Denver, Houston, KC, Ok City, Phoenix, and Minneapolis shows.
