Am i missing something? Is anyone going to try and get stand-by tickets? I know it's very possible for leno or conan but how are the chances for snl?

Hey Steph, It's a bitch and a half. did you go to the SNL website? check out the rules and crap. this old lady does not have the stamina and it is supposed to rain and i have an Oktoberfest Bday party to go to which was booked a long time ago. I even got a costume!! I have to find a keg costume for my hubby. maybe if you are all good i will post some pics. Good luck!! i hope you go.

I am assuming that the taping would be on Wednesday? Is it live on Thursday? I wish I would have known about this...I would have tried...So do you have to wait on line at 7 AM or something like that the morning of the show?

yeah you have to wait in line eeeeeeeeearly saturday morning for tickets for that night (at least i think thats what you have to do).

and if i didnt have work in the afternoon AND a halloween party to go to that night i'd so do it =[

but i encourage anyone who can do it to try! we gotta have some Coldplayers in there so they can come back and report to us =]

how early do you have to be for the snl tix? let me know, thanks, am willing to try as i am off that day.

The show that Coldplay will perform on is on Thursday night, not Saturday, just in case you thought it was Saturday...it may be doable for some now. I would you would have to try for tickets Thursday morning? Will it be live?

Ok, I'm really confused b/c on the website...it says stand-by tickets are distributed on the thursday of that week. I thought taping was on Saturday night, hence the name of the show. The taping couldn't possibly be Thursday because that's just the 1/2 hr weekend update taping only.

 

can anyone clarify when to pick up tix but when the actual taping is? I feel stupid =(

Weekend Update is on Thursday. SNL Jon Hamm/Coldplay is on Saturday Night, as always with Saturday Night Live. ;)

...no idea about the tix, though...hmmmmm...
