Featured Replies

wow Chelsea that's insane!! where are you going to uni??

awww.... that is soo cool!!!!!!!!

i've always wanted to go to the UK aswell.......... you're lucky!!!!!!!!! :D

hahaha, thanks alison! :nice: how old did you think i was?

my 19th birthday is in two weeks. i can't believe i'll ONLY be 19! :D

I guess I was thinking you were comfortably in to your 20's.

it's going to be UEA, in norwich :D. it's all i can think about. it's pretty unhealthy to think about anything THAT much .

I hope we live up to your high expectations :o

Carlos, don't be afraid of being 20! I think it's a great period of our lives, being in our 20s. :nice: We're not supposed to be COMPLETELY independent but at the same time we're not considered being too young to know life.

Having responsibility is frightening at times, but in the long run you get confident about yourself and what you're capable of. :nice:

I've decided being 20 will be the best time of my life so far. I'll party, hopefully go to study in Nottingham as an Erasmus student and generally have a good time without worrying too much.

And once you've decided, it helps. ;)

i can't fricking wait to turn 20. seriously. i've been looking forward to it for at least 10 years.

i've always been really old for my age, sometimes painfully so, and i feel like telling someone "i'm 20" means something very different than telling someone "i'm 19," even though it just is a number. i'm so fricking tired of being a teenager in number. i really don't like most teenagers, so i don't like being one.

most of my friends wonder why i want to turn 20 rather than 21, because 21 is the age you can drink in america. that means nothing to me; i'm basically a complete tee-totaler anyway. i don't care about drinking, i care about being taken more seriously.

i get to turn 20 in england :wacky:. that means so much to me :D

Very different for me, knowing that my years as a teenager are arguably the best years of one's live, I want it to go as slowly as possible. You're only a kid once, and after that it's all boring adulthood. I'm only 18, but whenever I see some little kids on campus I sort of envy them.

Oh I also am told a lot that I'm old for my age..."13 going on 40" my sister would say (and that was before the movie...)

Why do you think your teenage years will be the best ones?

I guess I was thinking you were comfortably in to your 20's.

exactly what i was wondering..........

i dare to say that my 20's so far have been WAY better than my teenage years......

hopefully that'll be your case as well, and you'll stop hoping you were younger when you should embrace your present time and age!!!
