8 game losing streak. Lost tonight too.

I was just watching a Canucks DVD with features and interviews from before the lockout. Makes me so nostalgic. Sure we weren't very successful then either, but it was better hockey.

Kesler played amazing today. The team played well in the 2nd and 3rd period. Definitely better than Minnesota, and I think they deserved the win. Only positive out of this is that they got a point out of it.

 

They better not fire AV because of this.

Dumb penalties. And cahcnes are useless if you can't bury them. Which we totally havn't been able to. Finish is just as imprtant as creating chances. :(

 

Personally, I've pretty much disliked AV from teh day he was hired. So I wouldn't mind.

 

That being said, I don't see it happening unless we lose like 3 more in a row or something.

Gillis did say that he isn't going to fire AV and was surprised that people were even thinking about that. I don't think that firing him at this point of the season would do much. The team just needs to start playing for a full 60 minutes.

Man, too bad Sedin took that penalty last night. I was pretty excited when Kesler tied it up. But Sundin, whats up with him? I think it was a big mistake for him sitting out so long before deciding to return. They didn't even have him on the ice in the final minute last night.

Sucks we lost Lang for the season with a lacerated tendon.

Yeah, losing Lang is going to hurt the team a lot. Is Latendresse injured as well?
