If this is true... I am seriously scared AND scarred for life. I swear. I have been completely terrified of insects/bugs my entire life. This probably going to make me paranoid or something. Good thing I DO watch my hands and I am a vegetarian...

It happens more than you think. I work on a brain surgery unit and I see it all the time. Mostly people from Mexico or ate pork in Mexico. It's a trip when you see their MRI. They will have a circle of abscess and a little worm sitting in it. The worms can grow in other places as well. Seen them in the liver.
