November 23, 200817 yr Went to Future Shop earlier tonight, with the intention of *unethically* persuading a gentleman that works there to sell me the album. I played coy and asked where I could find PM/Viva Deluxe edition, I couldn't see it on the shelves; he looked dumb and told me Coldplay wasn't releasing any new album, and if I was talking about Viva. I had 3 others guys tell me the same before I asked him to look on his computer. He found it, on the 3rd page of his search, logged in, and there I was hoping he'd go back and get it for me, the guy realizing it was a mistake it wasn't out there. :stunned: :shocked2: Then suddenly, a colleague (bastard) of his points to the release date, saying Nov 24, he looks at his Blackberry and realizes it's the 23rd. He tells me sorry, but it's coming out tomorrow...lol, it was worth a shot. The reason of me making this thread is to point out they've got ONLY EIGHT, shockingly enough, copies of the Deluxe edition. Rise and shine tomorrow, getting a friend to pick one up when the store opens (stupid school). lol. :D
November 23, 200817 yr Nice try :) My shop had 5 copies of the Deluxe Version, 10 of Prospekt's March. I called the shop some days ago to ask if they'll get some copies and the guy on the phone was confused as well!!
November 23, 200817 yr This week at sunrise they have a deal for 13.99 you can get the Delux Version of VIVA featuring PM. So naturally that's what I'll be doing... despite my better judgement of saving my money for Christmas haha

Takes away some of the tension. It's the same with waiting for a bus: When you know a time it's easier. I'm studying Psychology and read about the relief it gives when you have information about stuff like that. But I can't really remember it exactly - maybe my brain is just already "full" with Coldplay information and it had to "delete" some unimportant things :lol::lol::lol:

This is the current estimate date for receiving my copy of Prospekt's March: "Items not yet shipped: Delivery estimate: Dec 4 2008 - Dec 9 2008 1 of: Prospekts March (Ltd Ed)" I'm not going to wait for another week and a half for this. Amazon is supposed to be a leading online purchase store. Yeah, right!
