My album blew away (exciting story inside)

CRAZY STORY

Okay, its not that good. But I like writing random stuff.

So today, going out to the car holding Viva in my hands. Its been really windy here today. So all of the sudden a huge gust of wind blows the album out of my hands!

To my horror, the CD flies out, the booklet flies out, and the sleeve inside the case that holds the CD flies out! So in my head I have to decide what to go for first. I thought that I might not be able to retrieve all 4 pieces.

So first I went for the CD. It blew into these trees in the middle of the cul-de-sac about 20 feet from where I was standing.

Then I go for the CD cover. It flew 5 houses down. It took me a minute to find it. And chase it.

Then my sister was able to find the booklet and the sleeve.

So it was saved afterall.

But now the corner of the cover is banged up, and there are some little dents in the CD.

And it stopped working during Cemeteries of London. But then I got it working again.

And thats my Viva story for you all.

That might be the most random story of all time...but I liked it. If I was you, I would have to get a new CD. I can't stand when things get banged up.

I dropped my VLV cd once when I was getting out of the car. It had a tiny dint or 2, but luckily it still worked:)

Man, that wind was insane... our whole house wouldn't stop shaking all day.

Sorry about your cd. :(

I think the CD will be fine.

I'm just hoping the wind shuts up so I can sleep tonight. Being on the top floor of a house on top of a hill can suck sometimes.

my viva CD flies out of the case all the time...i know it's going to drop and crack someday.

and my case is all banged up like that too...at the today show it was in my backpack and a bottle of vitamin water burst and it soaked it up.

Is it a jewel case or digipac type thingy?

Man, you Canadians have it rough sometimes. I live in California, and if it starts to rain I freak out :)

I used to love Grape as a child...but now I prefer berry based flavours.

Not on top of a hill, but I know what you mean. My room is on the corner of the house that gets all the wind and rain driving right into it. Makes for weird dreams sometimes...

:laugh3: Don't come here now then, you'd have a nervous breakdown. It's been raining torrents this evening. 40 or 50 millimetres, I think they said.

^Better rain than snow though I think.

I think that's cool. It seems like a true fan who has a torn up and beaten down copy and still holds onto it.

i like the red flavor of pretty much anything. cherry, strawberry, raspberry...if it comes in red, i order red :P

@nick: haha, and even MORE of a true fan when you keep the beat-up copy and listen to that one, but go out and buy another copy to keep in mint condition!

Good grief! I am glad you were able to find all the pieces. That is some wind!

For sure. You'll note by the timestamp on this I'm still up so I don't have to deal with it though. Which really isn't healthy, but oh well.

That is some wind!
Yep. Around here on a day like this was you can lean right back into the wind with your arms open and not fall over, just like if someone was holding onto you. Kind of a weird feeling, really.
