There are some Coldplay songs that don't have the song title mentioned in the song. So, what would you name these songs, considering the actual lyrics in the songs? If you think of more songs than I mentioned, feel free to add them!

Somehow I think all of their songs with "abstract" titles are just right as is... with the possible exception of "42" because it's the most vague of them all... (but my interpretation of that is that 42 is the answer to life from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and maybe the lads got it from that. I asked the Oracle if that was true actually. And if that's why they named it that, it adds cool layers. And if not... cool coincidence. LOL) Amsterdam just feels so beautiful with that title... especially because it follows the brilliant imagry of the burning house in "A Rush of Blood to the Head." :D

Yeah, most like "Lovers in Japan", "The Scientist", and even "Viva La Vida" are actually better titled how they are than if you were to pull any of their lyrics out.

 

I've seen several people misname "Don't Panic" as "Beautiful World", which admittedly would not be horrible. Only other two I can think of that would sound decent:

 

The World Turned Upside Down = Everything Under the Sun

X&Y = Drifting

Life in Technicolor = Ding dah de nah De nah nah nah De nah nah nah

 

Honestly I can't think of any others that you guys haven't covered, but my memory is pretty horrible.
