I don't know if the MLB schedule has been announced but where Coldplay could perform are used by MLB teams, even MLS teams, and perhaps collegiate teams, therefore they're going to have to work around those schedules and work in what will fit location wise and so forth. It's easier to schedule a concert at a venue than a stadium because the stadium is used by other entertainment fields.

Of course, that is just my opinion so ignore it. LOL!!

Hey, they could play at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium (aka The Swamp). It has capacity for 90,000 people, and it's 2 hours away from Tampa.

Plus, they should since the Florida Gators are the 2008 BCS National Champions! :dance: (hahaha, I just had to mention this :lol:)

Yeah yeah I know I seriously don't know what was wrong with my boys today! Its like they had no desire to win at all! For some reason they gift wrapped the game and handed it to McNabb and the Eagles. I'm rather disappointed in them at the moment because I KNOW they can play so much better, but they had no drive today. Anyway good luck to your team and I actually hope you win the entire thing because then that means that of course we lost because we had to go against the best!

 

Oh, yeah, and whoever said it first that they think the dates will be announced on inauguration day I completely agree. If its not then I'm going to go into worry mode that they aren't going to come back at all and our hopes will be crushed.

I'm not sure about the whole "inauguration day announcement" idea... Don't you think they'd just announce it as soon as they knew anything, as opposed to waiting for a special event (even if it IS the inauguration)? But I don't know, maybe they will announce on inauguration day. :thinking:

and i suggested that idea first on the group, and then eventually on here. to me it just makes a lot of sense. but i agree, if we know nothing about more dates then, then i'll panic and come really close to giving up :(

They're definitely coming back, I don't think we need to say "if we don't hear about dates by ____, we should give up"!

i said almost. meaning i would loose a lot of hope of hearing dates soon. they announced dates for september in like this september....ok so maybe it wasn't that far away but still...we really should be hearing some news soon.

I feel like someone has said this already, but how long before US tours do they usually announce the dates? Or is there no "usual" length of time?

by the way, i was just watching some of coldplay live 2003. i limited it to only 6 songs and nothing else but i'm not so sure it helped my withdraw...:thinking:...or maybe it was just right amount of doceage? eh who knows?

There's a concert celebrating the inauguration at the Lincoln Memorial on the 18th, and apparently Jay-Z is going to be there... I wonder if Coldplay (or at least Chris) might show up?

 

If so, I'm going to be extremely jealous of my friend, she has VIP tickets!

So I've just found a ton of videos on youtube from my coldplay concert which i am in the process of converting to .mp4 format so they can go on my ipod, along with many other coldplay videos!:D

This most likely isn't helping the withdraw or wait at all, but i don't really care at this point.must.relive.coldplay.concert.as.much.as.possible.

If we find out this week, I think that might just be too much excitement for me in one week, seeing as I've found out just since Sunday that I'm going to Disney World, spending the summer in Oxford, and that I have an inauguration ticket! :P
