December 28, 200817 yr I just saw an advert on tv where famous people were talking about changing their name... Obviously, I wasn't surprised that Alice Cooper wasn't born with that name, but did you know Bruce Willis is really called Walter ??? :shocked2: So, I have two name-related questions... First of all, what name were your parents going to give you if you were born the other gender? My name is Alison. If I were a boy, my Dad wanted to call me Bruce or Lee (yes, really :() Secondly, would you ever consider changing your name? And what to?
December 28, 200817 yr I guess my parents used the name they wanted for a boy, because I've got a twin bro !
December 28, 200817 yr ..... interesting thread. my parents had the clear idea to call me my name, and they expected i were a girl... so i don't know well what they would had called me if i was a guy... once i asked them. my dad wanted i would has his name which is a rare name here and my mom would like her name in male version or her father name for my name. and yep when i was younger as some kids made fun of my name due to a doll ... i thought to chance my name... the one i wanted to had was Sofía for the meaning of the name, but i considered to had it as a first name and so move my actual name as a second name or so.... you say about bruce, well it is usual that artists (actors, writers, painters) due to different reasons use a different name that is not their real name. i consider myself to user a different name instead of my real one i were on that stuff. wops long post sorry :embarassed:
December 28, 200817 yr let me go ask my parents. *edt* my mom says she doesn't know cuz she knew i was going to be a girl. :dozey: well that's no funn. :bigcry: i don't think i would change my name, i would just add on to it.. :surprised:
December 28, 200817 yr If I were a boy, my Dad wanted to call me Bruce or Lee (yes, really :() Was he a martial arts fan, by any chance??:laugh3:
