January 21, 200917 yr I would love for them to win Best Live Act. They deserve it and they have never gotten this award so I hope they do, the Verve wont win it, Im sure they are kinda forgotten about. Suprised Keane ain't there. Not that I think they deserve to, maybe tthey do but the Brits Award go nominate them always.
January 21, 200917 yr Author  I dunno, they might just survive so long as Chris avoids any "We're the best band in the world!" slip-ups. that was sooo funny lol....but he's only speaking the truth!!

I can think of at least 3 bands that deserved to be in this catagory, Muse, The Prodigy, Biffy, Phonics all put on better live shows than some (not of course CP) in that catagory.
January 24, 200917 yr Bulgarian radio FM+ to broadcast the Brit Awards live The FM+ Radio will air live the Brits Awards ‘09. Bulgarian music fans will be able to become part of one of the most important music events in the year, the Brit Awards. The live show will be broadcast on February 18. This year among the most awaited live performances are those by Take That, Duffy and Coldplay. U2 announced a week ago that they will perform their new single exactly on the Brits' stage. One of the FM+ listeners, who takes part in the radio game, starting in the beginning of February, will have the unique chance to fly to London and watch the Brits live and meet some of the stars backstage. Many more gifts for the radio's listeners are to follow - e.g. tickets for James Blunt's concert in Bulgaria, which will be given every day. Meanwhile, the nominations for the Brits are already announced: http://www.brits.co.uk/nominations/ http://international.ibox.bg/news/id_1571830531

January 27, 200917 yr Is there anyone planning to go there? Like waiting outside or something? OR does anybody know how this award show works or has been there before? Will there be a red carpet? I'm having this crazy thought of booking a plane ticket... I've been thinking about going to London in Feb anyway to watch a play and could go there around the time of the Brits. Any help is appreciated!!
January 27, 200917 yr There will be a red carpet, yes. However Coldplay don't tend to walk them very often. I've only ever seen them walk a handful of the many award shows they've been to over the years. And they didn't walk it at the 2003 or 2006 Brits. So I'd assume they'd bypass it this time too... You never know though :D
January 28, 200917 yr Thanks for the answer, Mimixxx! Although this is only partly what I wanted to hear :) I'll think about it...
January 28, 200917 yr If you're thinking of going anyway, it's worth a shot. :idea2: I was thinking about going myself, with a friend, but tickets are £75 so am definitely not. :stunned:
