I believe so, or at least that's my thinking. Oxfam is busy bringing relief to Gaza, and so this would tie-in well.

i always just thought it was because it was also the sign of islam, and the boys were tring to bring more cultures into their music and shows and stuff.

but i honestly have no idea.

You've got to see that they're very much into the charity side of things - I think they're calling attention to the need to recognize all people, regardless of faith, as good fellow humans on the planet we share, and the Palestinians really have been put through hell recently, regardless of the extremists - the civilians are victims in need of help.

Its good coldplay do these little things. Its what makes them an awesome band

Actually I noticed them since the start of the VLV era and the outfits, it's alwais been on my favourite Chris's jacket, but it ws lighter and you couldnt's see it that well... Also he had a blue star and moon on another jacket of his, and in the X&Y era he had a pin on his black jacket with that symbol.:D .... IDK... :D

i myself is muslim i was chocked by it and in the same time glad, :D

I didn't get shocked or anything. I thought about it before, cuz VLV theme is about wars and politics, also Coldplay's interest of humanity and charity. I think nowadays, Gaza and Palestinians are the most hurted people and country of the world.
