When I watched the pictures on TV I had to laugh a bit to be honest. :D It would be absolutely impossible here that the whole public transport collapses just only due to a bit snow. Do people in England know winter tyres?

 

But well people in UK don't really get that much snow so it's comprehensible. Funny that people went skiing at Primrose Hill. :D

i may be being really stupid for a moment, but would the snow affect the tube? i would think that would still be up and running, even if the buses weren't.

About 55% of the network is above ground, so the tube was affected as well!

London public transport is used a lottttttttttt heavier than in Newcastle. It's not a surprise at all that London was messed up today because there's been so so much snow down here.
