Hello everyone! Well I have a project for my econ. class and I need some help..

 

My project is that we have to create a Starbucks drink for a Country.. Which I got Sweden...

and we have to also create a slogan and a 30 second commerical or a skit..

 

I been researching but I have nothing.. so I was wondering if any one is from over there can you guys help me out...

 

by telling whar popular over there... any drinks... what the weather is like.. etc..

Starbucks, that's coffee right? Just coffee?

Something berry flavoured would be typically Swedish I guess. Coffee with a layer of cloudberry flavoured cream on top.

Unless alcohol is an option, cause then it would be Absolute vodka :D

 

Popular things... we're outdoorsy I think. Nature is our place of worship.

Fashion (brands like Whyred, Odd Molly, Acne, Cheap Monday), design, IKEA, we travel a lot, Midsummer night is our most important holiday. We drink too much.

Our music (pop) export: the Cheiron studio with Max Martin and others, Robyn, ABBA, Roxette, Cardigans, The Hives, Peter Bjorn and John. We have quite a few music festivals for being such a small country.

Sports: Bjorn Borg, Ingemar Stenmark, Annika Sorenstam, hockey team.

Nobel prize.

 

Touring Scandinavia is a nightmare according to Chris Martin. "Every night you see the most beautiful woman you've ever seen. It's crazy" :smug:

Not me though.

 

Weather: snow just up north nowadays. Long dark winters, short but intense summer. Midnight sun, nordic lights.

 

A skit shouldn't be too hard. Words I think of: anxious, adjusting, drunk, nature, choirs (church and other), meatballs, fishing, midsummer night, nude swimming, the royal family.

Deep down I think we are patriotic, but we would never admit it.

We're dutiful, quiet, not very social, don't make friends easily.

We think we can speak English quite well, but we can't actually.
