Although I do pass a Leaf going to and from work every morning/afternoon, so they are out in the wild.

Not a leaf, but I've been looking at a Hyundai i20 Blue as my next car. 70s mpg and a co2 figure of 98 (meaning free road-tax in the uk at the moment :))

David, It looks very efficient indeed! 76.4 mpg, diesel, sounds good to me too!! :) Aha, that's a good idea - a road tax for gas hogs, well there's the answer - wish we did that!

A good deal then, have you road tested one yet? Is it easy enough to drive through the road-construction zones?

As for me, I'm using organic engines at present, pedaling 10 miles, hoping to get in shape to go the full circuit to town and back. :cyclist:

Passing a leaf, well just don't overlook the four leaf clover! :D

I probably won't get the Blue, but the Style, a bit less efficient but it's cheaper to buy, cheaper to run overall (the Blue has special wheels which cost £150 each), but still 70+ mpg.

The dealer is trying to source a diesel i20 at the moment
