What ideas have you taken from Coldplay?

Yeah, music things.I really like Elbow now.And I also listened to that song by Delakota that Chris once mentioned in an interview.Oh Santogold as well, thanks to Will

Coldplay changed my tastes in music. And I am very grateful for that!

Also, I like how Chris is always energetic, happy, enthusiastic, in a great mood, etc. I'm trying to be as positive as he is and enjoy the life.

I can't speak in American accent anymore.

Because of Coldplay, I wrote a song called "Gray", obviously which brings "Yellow" to mind. And some have already said this, but when I write, I tend to slip a Coldplay lyric in without even knowing it! Then when I do notice it, I leave it in.... ;)

the boys have become a bit of therapy to me. they are shy, one of them has something hyper going on;) and says weird things in public, and they weren't cool ever. but they are nice. all that i share with them. and that they still went out there and take the shit, and the silly comments and whatever, that really helped me to do the same.

F*** the perfect ones, long live true charm!

Time for a bump since there are so many new members.

Firts piano an recently lead guitar Thanks to really falling in love with Jonny a couple tears ago.:)

I don't really take any clothing cues from the band because they all make it look good, don't get me wrong, I think the coat that Chris wore during AROBTTH was damn awesome, but I know I would look like an idiot trying to emulate their clothing choices.

I have taken some instrument copying from Coldplay. Coldplay didn't get me into playing the piano, but they shortly afterward became my inspiration as a piano player. I started watching a lot of live performances and I became pretty interested in the type of piano Martin played, and I had never heard of a hybrid piano up until that point, so I researched and researched and found out that they are basically the most badass digital pianos out there. So after five years of playing and owning multiple pianos, I bought a NU1, which is Yamaha's replacement for Martin's GT20, and I love it to death. It's like a dream.

On a more philosophical note -- I like Chris's view on living life as others have pointed out here. I appreciate his laid back approach and he's a very accepting guy. He's taught me to keep an open mind and don't judge so much. He has indirectly taught me to be a better person, imo.

My favorite band and has had a massive impact on my life.

I love their art style especially in these last two eras. I have always been fascinated with graffiti art and living in an artsy city, I have always seen and loved these big colorful luminous pieces of art and personality that sort of bloom out of nowhere into the urban landscape. And like a lot of art, the piece is very unique to the person and what they want to express. I have always loved Coldplay's music and art because of their uses of symbolism in their work. I love vibrant things and beautiful colors and Coldplay has been a huge inspiration to me almost like a soundtrack that I listen to when Im feeling creative. I have been influenced I'm the ways that they make their songs into art and the symbols that accompany them.
