im sure you have heard by now but in here in southeast michigan, areas of ontario, the whole state of new york, new jersey, almost all ohio and conneticut are in a major black out!!! the plant in a part of ontario and new york supposingly had a major surge of power and caused a dominoe effect of black out all over!!!!!!

look, im sorry, but its not funny what so ever. we have completely almost no power. no where to go, no food, the only way i can do my plug-in inhaler is with the backup generator. WE ARE IN DISTRESS!!!!!! :cry:

The black out was pretty rad. How often do you get to see the stars when your in the city?!

stupid mel lastman was like "oh i never knew how hydrogen was so important, with out tv, radio, computers, anything." what a moron!!!! damn, they're all luxury items, you dont need them to survive!!!

i was affected by the blackout. we were lucky that we didn't have an electic thing to pump our water. the power went out at 4:10pm and came on at 6:10am! some of our stuff unfroze and it sucked because my mom had gone on a food shopping spree.

yeah the stars we great! and even better. mars was out last night! i got a look at it. closest it will be to the earth for 60 years. so that was a good site. like an orangy star.

this is what my sister said.

i live in thornhill right? richmond hill, which is very close to us still doesn't have power. she said that she heard that we are going to rotate the power around. i don't know if it's true. so we might be without power today also for a bit.

i was swimming at the time of the black out. and the phone was ringing..the cordless wasnt working so i ran in the house, wondering why the radio was off looked at everything and was like...WOW THE POWERS OUT!

then my aunt came and told us that the whole city power was out and we had to go to her house...

 

 

anyone know what time the power was back on ?

i was on the computer when it happend. all 3 of them shut down and the lights went off.

i'm not sure when it was in toronto. for thornhill it was 6:10 i think.
