I had to MEMORIZE that last year -_-

 

It was SUCH a pain in the ass. It was such a pain in the ass, that... my ass is still sore from memorizing it. Yeah.

I think it sounds better in Serbian. Somehow it's more awesome. But anyway it's still awesome in English. I wouldn't mind memorizing it.

Serbian is a better language than English ANYWAY because it has those awesome squiggles over the zs and stuff. :P

There are a lot of other differences, of course.

It annoys me that most of the kids use c instead of č and ć, z instead of ž and s instead of š when they're typing only because they're too lazy to change the language in the Language Bar to Serbian. That's okay only on MSN, even I do it there, because of fast typing etc. Also a whole bunch of kids use q, w, y and x while typing only to look cooler. WHICH IS STUPID.

EIGHTH GRADERS IN SERBIA ARE WAY SMARTER THAN FRESHMAN IN AMERICA, APPARENTLY. EXCEPT PERHAPS AT US HISTORY, AND POSSIBLY ENGLISH, NEITHER OF WHICH ARE REALLY FAIR SUBJECTS TO COMPARE OR ANYTHING.

Maybe our school programs are different, so you have a bunch of stupid essays to write and stuff like 15-pages-about-*insert something stupid here*. But we study more and we study harder things.

 

That's what I think.

I agree. We do do a bunch of stupid essays. And we don't really... you know, study study. I mean, we DO stuff, but it isn't like we make REAL notes on a REAL text or do outlines or anything like that.

 

Also, American teachers suck, because they have little incentive to NOT suck. (they have unions and stuff that mean even if you suck, you can basically go on sucking at teaching because... the unions have power like that.) Like, when we take notes in Bio, our teacher just makes us copy stuff she puts on an overhead, then DRAW PICTURES on the SIDE to "help us remember stuff." WTH? That is one of the WORST teaching strategies EVAR.

 

Although NONE of the rest of our teachers suck ANYWHERE near as bad as that. Whatevers.
