edit: My first forum was a forum about a Lego toy line :P I was like ten at the time.

I also used to uses smilies excessively on my first forum. After every sentence. :P Like this. :o Between sentences too. :lol: I thought that it made me seem more emotional (:P) and less like a robot. :)

Well at the time it was called "Project Dolphin" and we knew it would use an IBM CPU and an ATI graphics card. That was about it.

 

So we didn't know it would be a cube.

Although Revolution IS a good name for the Wii... it was SUPPOSED to be a revolution however half the games out there don't even really utilize the accelerometers in it :\

Yeah, and the Nintendo 64 was the "Ultra 64." I remember when they first announced that Wii would NOT be called "Revolution." That was quite a sad day for me...

 

I guess it worked out, since it wasn't a revolution, anyways.. Wii kinda sucks right now.

The Gamecube was a disappointment in terms of sales, and the Wii exceeded all expectations. If you had bought the stock back in 2005 and held onto it a couple years before selling, you would have made a 700% profit.

Oops, I typed that I was disappointed when they called it "revolution." My mind must have been backwards. Meant to say that it was a sad day for me when they revealed that the Revolution would be named "Wii."

Yeah, Nintendo is rolling is dough because of Wii (and DS). Doesn't mean that Wii has any good games coming out right now. :P Uggghhh @ "casual" gamers that Nintendo is catering to...

Although the last casual game I tried (spore) SUCKED BALLS. So I sort of agree.

Wii has way too many games based off of movies and TV shows and sports or whatever. Then there's Wii Fit, Wii Music, Wii Sports..that stuff. Ugh.

 

I only ever had Nintendo game systems, so due to the way Nintendo is now, I don't really play games much currently.
