Violet
So when we get to the 5th inning, Houston is ahead of the Nationals 4-0. We eventually LOSE the aforementioned game 9-4. If we can't beat the Nationals, there is a MAJOR problem. :bigcry: :bigcry: :bigcry:
coldplay_is_louve.
^^we've lost to them too. don't worry, it happens. :nice: WE BLEW THOSE BIRDS AWAY LAST NIGHT THOUGH. grand slam, ryan howard!!!! :smug:!!!!
Violet
But we had the LEAD. We were WINNING. And they creamed us anyway. I have to admit it; our bullpen SUCKS BIG TIME.
coldplay_is_louve.
aw, ours can be pretty pathetic. i think our starters are actually worse than our bullpen. we have myers, who's pitching tonight. :bigcry:!!!!!!!1 blanton. but he didn't do too bad last night. park. absolutely terrible. moyer's been picking it up, and king cole is injured. :( i'm looking at houston's pitchers on yahoo! sports, and the only one i can see that isn't doing so well is brian moehler? his ERA is 27.00. :uhoh: i'm sure we've had worse. :D:D:D i really hope myers doesn't screw this up for us tonight. he's 1-2, and the cardinals pitcher is 3-0. but so was their pitcher last night, and he let a grand slam go. :D:D:D:D:D:D!!!!
Violet
^ Yeah, and Moehler had started with a 37.72 ERA after his first start, it was so bad. >.> It's not that the pitchers themselves are bad. It's just they can't keep a lead. They can't. That's why Geoff Geary is like, 1-3 right now. GAHHH.
coldplay_is_louve.
most of our pitchers can't throw strikes. they have to rely on ground balls, and the outfielders ability to catch a ball. :laugh4: EDIT: especially myers. who REALLY needs to go back down to the minors. like, NOW.
Violet
Yeah, ours don't strike too many out, either. :p What is with you guys and Brett Myers? Has he gotten that bad? :\
