I searched for a Bush thread and there wasn't one. There isn't a lot of activity at the fan community either. I get to see Gavin Rossdale in a week and I'm excited. I have his solo album and all the Bush albums. I couldn't get the Institute album and I wasn't able to download it either. I liked the 5 Institute tracks that I was able to preview. I love everything he does. He's one of my favorite vocalists right up there with Chris and Bono. "Machinehead" is one of my favorite songs of all time. I could listen to it all day.

 

Do any of you listen to Gavin Rossdale, Bush or the Institute? Are any of you planning to see Gavin on his 2009 tour?

I like him. I saw him on Canadian Idol. He appeared to be a nice guy. Unlike Billy Bob Thorton, Gavin seemed to like Canada.

I think it has more to do with the fact that Bush is dead and Gavin only has 1 solo album. He waited almost a year to start the tour cuz Gwen was having their 2nd kid.

Everyone always compared Bush to Nirvana because they were both grunge. And grunge is dead. Bush is the only UK band I can think of that was more popular in the US than they were in England. They called it "American" music because of their influences. That's probably why Gavin married a girl from Orange County.

We finally discovered why Gavin Rossdale isn't more popular.
