Is it normal...

Featured Replies

When ever I sing... I cry.

Well I get teary-eyed like REALLY BAD

No, its not because I get into the song and the song touches me..... I could be singing such a happy song, sad song, anything.. It has nothing to do with my emotions. My eyes just get really watery.

I noticed when I sing alone I DON'T GET TEARY EYED ( I don't get sad... my eyes just get watery)

But when I sing in front of somebody else I DO GET TEARY EYED.

Its not cuz im nervous or anything. I could be singing in a stupid voice...

WHATS WRONG WITH ME LOL

You're crazy?? Ask your shrink... :D

lol k xD

What is "normal"?

Music is a kind of showing emotion - in my opinion, although I've never heard of someone like you before.

I cry when I think about commercials.

Like when I audition for a commercial I don't do that,

but when I'm alone thinking about them I cry.

I'm kidding. :P

Anyway you'll get over this, you're just a little shy. When you perform in front of someone (or a whole bunch of people) just try to have a good time because when you're in a good mood when you sing, people will think you're professional. I mean look at Chris Martin, he must be tired as hell but when he's on stage he dances and jumps around and has good energy. I don't think at first he was too comfortable with performing on front of thousands of people. ;)

that happens to me sometimes. i don't cry, & it has absolutely nothing to do w/ emotions, but when i sing in a melodic voice idk what happens but something travels from the back of my throat to my eyes & they just get kinda watery

Haha.. I actually don't think this is the case. I'm nowhere near shy and I have so much fun and dance and make my friends laugh when i sing. I sing loud in class and everything and my eyes just start to water..
