oh I like Sweden :nice: seems such a beautiful country...

I actually know some people living there. They are very nice! who knows... maybe I'm going there to study in a not-so-far future.

What I know about it... not much besides of what ppl already said here: ABBA, high taxes, high suicide rates, high quality of life, the design of chairs...

Also I saw in tv once, that there was a country inside your very country. It was created by a Swedish man...

Also that the country is very egalitarian on its wealth: there's generally not too rich, not too poor people. (here's totally the opposite)

Oh, and the blonds with big boobs. :stunned:

Oh and the Nobel Prize!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

a country inside our country? maybe you mean the sami community who is in the north? but that isn't a country..

hahaha, blond with big boos  well.. I don't want to dissapoint you but we all don't look like that ;)

although we have an reputaion to be very beautiful. Chris Martin himself has said; "In Sweden everyone is so beautiful. You must fall in love at first sight all the time. It's a nighmare to go to tour in Scandinavia cause every night you see the most beautiful women you have ever seen. It's crazy!"

I love that quote! :smug: ;) I'll see you the 22 August, Chris :sneaky:

Oh and the Nobel Prize!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes! :)

The 10december - my birthday!

When I was a little girl I though that the swedish flags were up because it was my birthday..

Um, okay.

It's near Norway and stuff, and its capital is, um... Stockholm. Umm.... Norway is.... to the west? :inquisitive: and Finland is like, ..... northeast of it. Potentially.

It's also a very awesome place to live on many multiple levels. Cuz they have all sorts of really cool stuff in Stockholm, like, yknow, the Nobel Prize and everything. Also they used to have a lot of Vikings! :hat:

Oh, and the blonds with big boobs. :stunned:

Men with big boobs??:stunned:

Or did you mean blondes??

Don't forget Ulrikka Johnssen and Sven Goran Eriksson!!:P

Haha, yes :laugh3:

@the oasis fan (you have 'faster then a cannonball' as text)

yes we did :) and I don't really get the last part.. don't all countrys do that?

Nope. Well, a Swedish professor on our faculty said that you guys allow guests and journalists speak in their own dialect (most of the time). Or at least that they encourage this diversity.

Here, if you speak a dialect which is not the 'central' one, the people make fun of you in 60% of cases. And usually you don't hear them on the telly.

Oh and btw, call me Nina :D

Really? That's a shame! I think this thing about diffrent dialects is so charming.

Nina it is! It's a beautiful name. My name's Maja, btw. :)

I totally agree with you, I'd feel so well in Sweden! :D

Pleased to meet you, Maja! That's my cousin's name, too. And the funny thing is that everyone thinks she's Swedish because she has very blonde hair and blue eyes.

Britt Ekland and Marie Helvin.

Ikea and Marabou chocolate (my fave).
