Right. I suppose that's basically right. Anyway this is sort of a silly question because it's impossible to answer if it's only for chickens / chicken eggs. It doesn't just happen for the sake of it. I don't think they inject chemicals into chickens that would cause genetic mutations, they've already selectively bred them to get maximum efficiency.
