Most Talented Frontman

Featured Replies

Why did everyone forget about Matt? Personally I think he's much more talented than Chris, but yeah he seems too shy/weird to be the best frontman. But since this poll is titled "most talented frontman" I voted Thom with Matt being a close second.

^ Haha...well don't feel bad. I think Bono should win this category. I obviously stand alone in this belief because his vote total is 1, which was my vote :)

At least others have received multiple votes.

Sorry but this is one step too far. You know I hate Radiohead but even though putting Thom Yorke in their is pathetic. The man ain't known for his "showman" skills. Plus the fact they're prone to a few dodgy gigs, whereas Coldplay, Muse and particularly U2 are not. The level of Radiohead bias on this site is OTT I'm afraid. Anyway we all know Bono's the greatest frontman but where's Freddy Mercury? Do you know about music history?

for me it's Matthew Bellamy :nice:

Are you talking about charisma or musical talent??

Anyway, I think I'll say that the best was Freddy. Just look at Wembley 86 or the Live Aid..it's mind blowing!

Out of that lot, defo chris martin, but I like Tom Chaplin from keane, Kelly from Stereophonics and Danny from The Script.

I went with Thom because he is better than all of the other choices. :nice:

He certainly has more experience than Chris Martin, as well as writing deeper lyrics and so forth, and he's also better than Matt Bellamy because Radiohead > Muse any day, and additionally, Bono is not somebody I really like so I wouldn't vote for him.

What a bunch of crap,seriously.

Bellamy has certainly higher, plus he does the job of three RH members on stage.

And the beatles are four talentless wankers....

Thom Yorke can play guitar as good as Matt (Paranoid Android and Street Spirit, There There, just to mention a few cases)... On piano Matt is much better, but Thom Yorke has a waaay better voice than most of other rock singers

Thom Yorke, he is the best!!! :D

Aww poor Bono! Its all u2 'haters' around here! He is really good!

But..i prefer Thom

Out of the lot Bono's the best and will be rememberd as the best. He's got a sensational voice way better than the rest. And anyway what about Morrissey?? Or do most the people on this thread don't know who he is?

I like Morrissey. Didn't get into any of the Smiths album but The Queen Is Dead but I'm quite loving it.

Also, what's the fuss about his voice? I've heard that many don't like it, but I haven't noticed anything strange about it.

My fav band is Coldplay but I have to go for Matt cause he performes way better than Chris, he's got an incredible voice and I find him a lot more amusing (hahah) live than any of the others for his voice, his guitar and piano playing, everything.

Chris Martin

Bellamy

Bono

Yorke

Chris Martin just because i love lyrics that you interpret for yourself. Not one true meaning. Muse is a great band. Bono is a legend. Personally i can barely understand wtf Thom is saying when he sings. Plus when i do his voice is not that good. but jmo.

Of those listed, Matt and Thom are the most insane ones (well Matt even more)

^^

what do you mean by insane. Chris is much wilder and crazier on stage than matt. all bono needs to do is put on his sunnies and he is way more insane than all of them put together.
