Coldplay t-shirt

Featured Replies

Hello everybody!

This is my first time on this board, so please be gentle. I've been a longtime fan of Coldplay! I've seen them twice so far. The first time was at the Greek Theater in Berkeley, which I still remember after A Rush of Blood to the Head came out. It was utterly fantastic. They were intimate and confident and played both their singles and the stuff from their album that fewer probably listened to such as Green Eyes and A Rush of Blood to the Head. I loved it.

Recently I made two shirts, one for my sister, and one for fun. I wanted to share them with you all if you were interested in getting something unique, and I think a little bit different, than what others have made. The cost ($14.99 plus shipping from MySoti, a fantastic site) is face value and I don't receive any commission! You can also upgrade to get them made on American Apparel brand shirts as well!

Here is the first one:

I think I chose to have a rubik's cube sphere in the background because it ties in two of Coldplay's songs, The Scientist and Don't Panic, particularly the parts where he sings, "pulling your puzzles apart." and in Don't Panic, that we live in a beautiful world. I hope it conveys that message without being too explicit.

Here is the one I made for my sister:

Parachutes is her favorite album, and it just conveys that, hopefully. Anyway. Just view em, and if you like it enough, go get it! It's fun to get some exposure. If not, sign up for MySOTI anyway. They have a ton of very unique and cool illustrations and t-shirts.

Thanks again, and hope to see some of you at their next concert! Cheers.

Welcome.

You will find us to be a gentle lot.:whip:

re:second shirt.

Thanks for the quick comments! And yes, it is hard to come down from the concertgoing drug!

awww...that 2nd tee is really cute! :D

oh, & where are my manners...a big "hello" to you too.

it's really cute.

and I think I already liked your first shirt, when I read that it's with a rubric's cube, 'cause I "love" them. once I learned how to solve the cube.

There's already a thread about home-made tee-shirt. It's "Show Off your Coldplay". You could see how awesome people out there have made tee-shirts. Yours are very nice, i8ny3x !:shocked2:

The second is adorabwe!

I might buy one actually...

Aww the second one is so adorable ! I really love it :wacky:

Coldplay played at the Greek Theater? Argggh I wish I knew about them then :bigcry: That must have been amazing!

Your shirts are awesome, btw. The second one is especially adorable :nice:

hey, thanks for all the nice comments!

And strawberry fields, yes, it was a fantastic concert, the better of the two I went. My sister has been to all their shows since then, and she said that was still her favorite one. I think somewhere after that there was a loss of earnestness, which is a shame, since it was the themes of unrequited love and sad-faced ballads that hooked me in the first place!

Ps. I'm also going to the one in Mountain View! It'll be my first in 7 years! Holy crap!

Well, the Greek theater is such an intimate and small venue, that I can't even imagine Coldplay nowadays playing there! But I can definitely see them there a few years ago. The atmosphere there must have been perfect :wacky:

Have fun at Shoreline! I'll be there too
