I didn't even know that in other countries there isn't that much vacation.

 

Well, I guess we just make the best of our time. We cram everything in with the short time that we got.

Yeah private and public schools wear uniform here. It's not like, those big jackets and stuff ya know...I go to a public school and I have a summer dress and a winter skirt and shirts and a jumper and stuff. I prefer it though cos like you said, you don't have to worry about what you're gonna wear. :D

Oooohh.. what color? It seems nice 'cause you wear skirts so you're probably dressed up nice. I would never wear skirts. And even if you did, somebody would always say, why are you so dressed up? So that would make you never want to dress up again.

What color? Uhm our schools has like..greens and blues and...I can't remember. :lol: I wouldn't say our school is 'dressed up', but I think that's cause I don't know any different. :P

And that sucks about the whole dressing up thing :/

I ask because that would be really bad if you had to wear brown or orange or some weird color! :lol: But, yeah, I've noticed that in the US everything is very casual so a skirt would be considered 'dressed up'. But I guess a uniform is a uniform. :/

i don't know what's happening with french radio station they love to play those liberty Z every time argh :confused:

we had to watch a video in biology about cattle and how they have to be shipped to other countries to be slaughtered and then eaten and they travel on crowded ships and some die from lack of space and air etc.. :cry: it was so sad :embarrased:

yes, I have known about that, and read about it also. And it's not some PETA propaganda thing, either. In fact, in many cases, the cattle even get fractured bones while going thru all that transportation.

 

and now we also have the Bird Flu that's going around in Asia...killing millions of birds but also already a few humans, too. :confused: :/
