Hehe it's okay. :D

No actually, both my parents are Vietnamese. My dad moved here from Laos when he was a teenager (both my parents were born and raised in Laos, their families escaped the Vietnam War) and my mom moved here when she married my dad from France (Her family moved to France when she was 13). I was born and raised in America.

Wow, that was quite an explanation, hehe. :)

wow... great..

i'm from malaysia

laos and vietnam is just 900km north of me!!

Nice! Have you ever visited Laos or Vietnam before?

My parents would like to vacation in Vietnam, but it's going to be awhile for that to really happen!

never. but i think it is the great place.

they have an excellent history.

Yeah I'd like to go there someday, too. :nice:

I have a great aunt still living there, so it'd be nice to visit her.

OH. that's cool. just go, starlight. it won't cost too much.

Yeah I've been told. But it's gonna be one hell of a plane ride! Or plane rides, I should say. :P

it's hard to find a flight to vientiane (Laos) but in vietnam you can proceed to Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi.

there will be a sports event in 2009 at vientiane

and 25% of major sports such as gymnastics, weightlifting will be dropped out because they don't have the proper facilities

and so that the airport

i ate a rose last night. :dozey:

I had the best night ever...except for my cousin being forced to crowd surf and then the whole thing with him somehow ending up outside the venue and not being able to get back in. And not getting a t-shirt because he was outside in the cold in the middle of Philadelphia.

I want to become a dentist or a police officer in the future

Maybe you could be both...a cop who carries Novacaine and a drill instead of a taser and a gun?:laugh3:

I wanted to join the Secret Service when I was a kid. (tough to do being Canadian, lol.)

i think that there's a Secret Service in each country... ones are more known that others...

Possibly. But I wanted to join the US Secret service. You see, I was a little kid when Reagan was shot (I'm REALLY showing my age, lol) and I wanted to be the one to protect the president. Silly childhood fantasy!:embarassed:
