I usually wear my basic make up (eyeliner and mascara)...I only hate the eyeliner, because it disappears anyways...but I need mascara, because my eyelashes are so freaking long and not worth not to be seen..:wacky:

When you talk about applying eyeliner, do you mean liquid or kohl, upper lashline or lower waterline...? :thinking:

No. :thinking: I do it for myself and because I like what makeup can do to my face. I want to be able to take a look in the mirror without getting this face on: :disappointed:. What I care most about on the matter is that my skin looks okay. Believe me, you do not want to see me when I have blemishes, spots etc. dominating my face and look dark under the eyes. I have plenty of days where I don't use any makeup.

If you want to do the "you only do it for men" thing, then give me plenty of examples of when a real catch of a guy, a true dream man chose a less attractive woman. It doesn't happen often. Take Chris Martin for example. :( He appreciates pretty makeup.

Actually, I'm pretty sure that women (including straight) do often try to look good to other women (who supposedly are more observant when it comes to others' appearances or fashion or whatever?). I don't know, maybe it's competitiveness or something.

I think you've got a point there. I tend to try to look at least as good as the other girls around me and I get inspired by other girls makeup-wise.

Yeah, I have long lashes too and I got my glasses adjusted because the lashes were touching the glass. It was freaking annoying and only got worse when I wore lenghtening mascara. :dozey: Since I got the adjustment I don't have the problem. :)

You know what's the second worst looking thing after liquid eyeliner? Badly applied foundation :sick: seriously if you use it you don't stop at your chin line, you spread it out...

That's true... i use compact... i'm about to go buy some more and i need a darker shade... but i use... those self sharpening eyeliner...i'm afraid of liquid eyeliner :wreck:
