As an atheist I would like to step in and say that you all are idiots if you think you can't have morals without religion. Kthx. I would also like to say some other things:

 

Why live if there isn't an afterlife? Wtf?? You can do so many things to help people while you're alive, living for what you think is going to happen when you're dead -- how can you do that?

 

I find it more comforting to believe life isn't just some sadistic and cruel test by an unfathomable superior force anyway.

 

Also, atheism is not a religion. Religion is faith in something you have no evidence for, atheism is founded on not beleiving in things unless you do have evidence for them. They're totally different kettles of fish.

I think we should all just present our opinions and deall with everyone elses. Because they feel the same way about theres we feel about ours.

This is probably unrelated to Atheism and the main point of this thread by the way but who cares. Have you actually heard a voice? How does this relationship/conversation/whatever with God manifest itself? I'm genuinely curious btw.
