By popular request (not really...only like 4 people), I have made the thread for planners/notebooks/other things that I am too lazy to list right now! :dance:

 

 

I have just recently gotten a Moleskine 18 month weekly planner. I decided to tie my special butterfly ribbon on the elastic. :blush:

 

 

First week of using it...pretty boring, really. I taped a receipt up top as a way to keep track of my spending...and the paper on the bottom left of the second page is my Gold Cup QF ticket. :D

 

 

I went a bit crazy at the dollar section of Target the other day...:P

 

Left to right: 3D patriotic letter stickers, glittery label stickers, to-do list pad (but I will probably cut out the sections individually to paste into my planner), 5" x 7" scrapbooking/matting paper, shape and alphabet stencils.

For some reason, stationery, especially notebooks and pens, have always made me nerdily happy. I've recently discovered that I'm not the only one like this :P.

 

My new planner starts in the beginning of August, and I might post pics of that and my newly-decorated journal when they're finished :D

 

Jenn, your Moleskine is awesome :wacky:. I use them for journals more than for planners, for some reason, but they honestly make me drool.

yeah, i'm back to school in 5 weeks and i shouldn't use the free planner my school offers for once. they're full of ads and it tried personalising mine last year by putting pics in there. haha. it kind of came apart, though.

 

a moleskine would be nice, but there's another brand called "filofax" and they make amazing planners, too. they're friggin pricey (up to €239!), though... :\

 

oh, and of course i'd need a bunch of new pens, too.

 

just a side note: i LOVE sharpies! i wish we had exactly those pens in germany, too!

My school gives out free planners to everyone in the beginning of the year too, but I never use it haha. Maybe with the Moleskine I'll put school stuff in more often.

 

I'm thinking of making random collages in my Moleskine as well...with pictures of <s> cute footballers</s> and amazing clothes and stuff like that haha.

 

All those colors make me happy. :blush:

I heart Sharpies

 

AHH, I love Sharpies! I wish they didn't bleed through basically all paper, though...I'd use them for everything if they didn't. I have a 15-color set made by Bic, and they're basically my life. I think I'll take a picture of my usual supplies tomorrow, since I'll have nothing better to do :P.

 

Today I was cleaning my room a bit, though, and I came across all my old Gelly Roll pens from middle school. Did anyone else have those? I was obsessed. All my lightning ones and stardust ones still work! :dance:

i remember that some of the girls even stole them from the store because they were obsessed with them!

and they came with glitter and in all sizes. :laugh3:

those were the times.

thing is they're not exactly practical and they give out quite fast.

I go colored pen crazy too, holy shit I have SO many. :dead:

I own more pens than God, I think. I found thousands while cleaning today :disappointed:.

 

Notebooks are my biggest weakness, though. I just can't get enough of them :P.

just a random stupid question from a european kid: why do you americans always have those note pads with yellow paper that is so thin you basically cannot write anything on it with, say, a sharpie? [alrighty, they're environmentally friendly, but still... why yellow not grey?]

I don't like too thick of paper, haha. It's heavy and not really necessary. There is thick paper for if you want to use Sharpies, but for general purposes not everyone uses them. :P I like the yellow.

i guess bright colors are actually better for memory, too. They also attract attention.
