And that is a good question,

The actual idea of Chris and Jonny meeting on from the opposite sides of the window was given to me by Dianna, the lady who wrote G/F.

And I sort of just got like an idea in my head of where I wanted it to go.

 

Most chapters I have like a target in mind, like a point to finish on in the story.

But a lot of in between is written on the spot :D

 

 

 

Oh and yes, it is actually leading somewhere

To be honest, I've just taken the many forms of entertainment that have surrounded me my whole life, and sort-of just absorbed it all.

 

But where I got the idea from is much more complicated. And a bit insane.(Not that this is anything new :P)

 

I just love grim stuff, and have my whole life. And to make an insanely long-story short, I just took my favorite people in the world, and spent the past three years building this MASSIVE story around them. I get ideas, and the ability to use such detail when writing, by talking out these little scenes, over and over. From story-lines that end up going nowhere, to the many failed attempts at writing the perfect beginning. I just OBSESS, long after I've memorized it in my mind.

 

But the idea for making Chris a serial killer came from the (very) annoying comments made by people on the interwebz, saying that he's a weak pansy, amongst many other-inappropriate things. And I like proving people wrong. In my head.

 

I blame YouTube. :confused:

 

Course, in your case, I suppose you should be thanking the haters, since they gave me the inspiration for the wonderful coming-of-age tale that is TWTUD. :P

Funny thing is, if I just wrote the story as I went along, without editing or changing path from the very beginning, you would not even recognize the story for what it is now. :stunned:

 

So, yes, it has all been a very nice pay-off after all this time, especially since you're here to read it. Honestly, you seem to be the only one who cares about TWTUD, and if you hadn't joined the server at the same time as me, I know I would still be sitting here, debating weather or not it was good enough to post.
