@ Penguin,

This is pretty sad, we're using this thread for anything but discussing fan-fics.

So, to get back on topic, (sort-of) how many of the other fics have you read? What's your favorite? And who do you hope to see writing more in the future,(if any of this makes sense :P) ?

Hahaha!!!

Cake is amazing ok!?

Oooo!!! I have read like all of the fanfics!!!

I loved them all!!!

Omg... I don't know how I could pick my favourite without thinking long and hard and eating some cake.

What about you? X

@ Penguin,

Yeah, I wouldn't be able to pick out one fan-fic from the rest, as well.

But a few authors I especially loved on here were Brooke,(known for providing plenty of Buckin' content :sneaky:) and jknc, (also known as Diana)

Do you have a preferred genre, Penguin?

Brooke was one of my fav, and there was another girl, she wrote a fanfiction called Christopher Anthony John Martin & Jonathan Mark Buckland. A Love Story. But it's unfinished :( she wrote A Rush Of Blood aswell

@ Jonny Cake,

CAJM & JMB, yeah, I remember that one.

God, I hate when stories go unfinished. :(

^^^Brooke and Dianna are two of my favourites!!

They wrote some amazing stuff!!

Omg there are so many amazing fic writers AKFKDKDKD :omgomg:

I loved Fight for Every Dream.

Is it even being continued?

And your previous question Marie,

I love lots of genres!!

From really cheesy and fluffy, to dark and murderous!!

Creepy, werd, whatever!

I am up for anything, :D

But I do have a special place in my heart for angst.

@ Jonny Cake,

Ah...

Oh, well. Sometimes these things happen.

I love fantasy! :D

But embarrassingly enough, I get too jealous of original characters...

Oh, my :uhoh: ^

Then I guess both of you will soon come to hate my material.

Even you, Penguin. :bigcry:

Oh Marie,

I will most certainly not hate future chapters!!!

You've sucked me in, there is no way to get rid of me now.

@ Penguin,

Really?

'Cause there's gonna be original characters.

Lots of 'em.

Are you sure about this? Or have I converted you?

@ Penguin,

Ooh, my narrative is sassy? :sneaky:

Since we're on the subject, regarding fan-fics, what is your preferred POV?

Gothic, 1st person, 3rd person, ect.?

What is Gothic?

But regards to reading them,

I love to read anything that is written good. :wacky:

2nd Person is probably my least favourite, but if it is written good, I can still like it.

In regards to writing them,

I find it easiest to write in first person, but I'm going to try my hand at third.

@ Penguin,

Here's to me hopefully using the correct word/definition, but gothic, in terms of writing, is when the story is told in the hero/heroine's POV, usually when the pronouns I, me, we, ect. are used.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, for I am a babby newb-lord. :D

@ Penguin,

I don't have a personal preference when it comes to reading one's style of writing, but when it came to writing my own fan-fic, I struggled greatly in this department.

It took me the longest time to wake up and realize that the narrative I'm using now was the best way to go. But now that I have, I couldn't be any happier.

Although, one day, I would like to write a story in the 3rd person. And hopefully, if I do a good job, you'll enjoy it, too. :)

I will enjoy it very much Mar, I assure you :D

So gothic is basically first person? :D

I think that all styles of writing have their advantages, with first person I find you can write deeper about the characters thoughts and what not.

And with third, you can write scenes where the main character does not have to be there, which is quite good.

But some people are comfortable with whatever, I find it easiest in first.

But I love reading in any style, :D

In my absence I was actually writing in case you think I wandered off into the moonlight to play harp music to the trees or something

That last sentence was so magically random.

Anyway, I won't be on for the next 40 min. or so, gonna go watch a show.

See you then. :D
