The problem is that you aren't consistant with what you said. Atleast when I failed to stay away for a week I just tried again because I couldn't let myself not do it and I actually stayed away for that week. When you said you were leaving for a week you came back the next day saying you just couldn't stay away. And that makes people take nothing you say seriously.
