Floor seats....

Featured Replies

I've always wondered.....how do you get floor seats? Am I not fast enough online when I'm buying tix?

Last concert i was fron row side stage (excellent seats) and this one i was supposed to go to in Tampa I had sec 10 seats (not too bad)

But how the heck do some people have the advantage of swinging floor seats??? Is there a secret???

:)

If you can get into some Rewards Program and get early chances to buy tickets, that's one way. Otherwise just get online and buy tickets the second they go on sale.

The show I went to I got floor seats. Two minutes after, the next available seats were like 200 rows up.

StubHub, Ebay, other ticket broker sites. I have bought tickets secondhand for the floor 4 times. Only once have I been lucky to get 10th row through ticketmaster, and that is because they released more tickets after the initial selling with little notice.

I have always been able to get PIT tickets when they first come out.

Go the Venue. Guaranteed floor seats as long as you are near the front.

LiveNation sells them at least 1 month before the event, try to check everyday to see if they sell them for a whole month before the show. I don't know how Ticketmaster works though.

if its GA PIT, you have a way better shot in my opinion. Normally the pit is pretty large and it seems like more tickets are released online for those. Plus they release them in waves it seems. SO if you miss out when they first come out, don't worry, they will release more as time goes on.

I feel like when the entire floor is assigned(especially at smaller venues, like arenas), it's impossible to get ahold of them.

too bad i dont live in a city that coldplay comes to. otherwise i would camp out to get tix early at the venue. haha. but instead i use ticket rush it livenation and ticketmaster. last concert was my first and i had front row side stage. amazing.....could have jumped on jonny (which i would have if that darned roadie wasnt standing below me)

Actually, check back about a week after the show is announced. That is usually when they finalize stage layouts on the floor. Some bands reserve them for fans. Pearl Jam saves them for 10 Club members. Coldplay gives them away. U2 does GA, and lotteries before.

It all depends. I have always gotten Row 1's a month after on sale, or a week or two before the show.
