Did you make a mistake? well relationships work if both parts want it to work and put their part on it, if is just one of the two who works for it, at some point it will broke. so answering if is worth... who knows? there's any chance they can still be friends, or just take some time and talk about it and may be re-take the relationship later?. if both want to take it back, i think they should talk seriously about why they decided to break, if there was something one of them did wrong, or if one of them have any fear and why....
