Was it worth waiting?

... so i assume the relationship has broken for that?

 well if that "in love" feeling is more serious than the first one... :\ better be honest than lie. (then it would really be a lose of time, if that person keeps lying for like 1 year or so, don't you think? )

may be that person just thinks a relationship in her/his own country have more chances to work that a long distance one. :\

that reaction may be is for fear and because the waiting is "killing"

No no no. She just got tired of asking the other person to wait, and decided to move on.

Important detail: Her current gf asked her not to talk to the one she was waiting for, because she knew she was still thinking about that person. And she did it.

This is an awesome song.

but if the one who would have waited is in love with somebody else now and happy(???) then it probably wasn't a mistake,....it was only a mistake if the one who stopped it regrets it now...

Yes, that's what i think too...as long as she is happy...and somehow i know she is.

I guess it is worth waiting for someone if you truly love them. It sounds like this girl was was willing to sacrifice a lot if she was planning on leaving her country.

I do think it depends on where the other person is from though. I guess it would be very difficult if they lived on a different continent and you wouldn't be able to visit them.

Where is she from, btw?

We spent a week together there. I went all by myself to meet her... Best days of my whole life.

P.S. She paid for everything, i can't afford such thing.

It can be very expensive even if you live in the same country. I don't wanna know how much I've spent on train tickets since my boyfriend moved back home. :embarassed:

I wish he was mine.:(

We had a similar dog when I was a kid ... loveliest dog ever.

Love knows no borders, distances, or state lines.

That is my two cents.

Same here. We had a dog until recently but he was technically my housemate's so he took him with him when he moved out. I really want a dog but I know I wouldn't have enough time.

This girl, she loves you. And you love her too, so much. But she's in another country. Fuck, she's amazing, everything you ever dreamt of. She's madly in love with you. She wants a relationship, she asks you to wait for her. She will come to your country to study, in a year or two. But you don't believe in distant relationships, you like to live in the reality. You lost her.

Did you make a mistake?

Yes.

How long must you wait for it,how long must you pay for it :\

yes and no... this was me... she said she would come but she never did
