Yeah, you could say that! I will be at an orphanage for boys. Not sure how long I will stay though, but I have visa to April. ^^

Oh, that sounds really great! It is so good to see eachother after time apart! Then you got so much to talk about!

I am glad you are looking forward to uni! ^^ What subjects are you reading? I have such a short memory... *hides*

Stefan called me a bitch :dozey:

YOU CALLED ME A LOSER FIRST BITCH.

BITCH

I'm sure it will be a tough, but absolutely great experience. Did you have to learn some Hindi or is English enough?

The break from uni in Germany is always way too long for me ... basically I'm paying 700€ for 3 and a half months of courses ....

I'm studying a combination of languages, linguistics, intercultural communication and information science. :nice:

Stefan - Hi you! :)

Imke - Aaaah yes now I remember! Those subjects sounds great! Oh wow, only three months? That is not much at all! Are the lectures extra long then or something?

Well, each course is 90 minutes once a week.

It's not that I'm complaining about too much free time, but I think we should get more for the money. And my university is a catastrophe, nobody knows where the money really goes. :\

Only 90 minutes? Or maybe that is normal for uni...?

They don't say what it is used to? Like buying new material for the school, making classrooms nicer? That sounds really off! Maybe you should talk to the principal or something and ask? I mean, you have the right to know where your money goes!

I forgot to answer your question about India, sorry! I will learn a little malayalam (meaning words, no grammar), but I will communicate with english. One of the keepers are pretty good but apart from her, they're really bad. The education for the kids in school is really bad. :( They just start school when being accepted to the orphanage, which means they start a level that is too hard. Plus, I am not sure how good the teacher is to begin with.:\

I am sorry but I should go to bed now. I will talk you lovely people tomorrow! <3

Well, I think the principal is the problem. I heard some strange stories about him exmatriculating students and such ... plus he always claims that there's a complete list of the usage of the money, but it just doesn't add up. :\

It's going to be a huge task and a lof of responsibilty, but I think you will really learn a lot from this experience and I think the boys will love you for being there for them.

I know there are a lot of problems in India, but I think people like you, who actually care about them and not only talk about them will help to improve the situation, even if it's just a little.

Goodnight sweetie.

It was raining so hard earlier today

but we had a school band performance and our drummer wasn't there so we had to teach another guy in about 20 minutes :bigcry:

There's some scientific reason but I don't know it

We have lovely summers though :nice:

Anyone still here? though I'm just passing by cause I'm going over to my friends. :D

I'm back now. Hi and bye Eddie! :nice:

Hey Amy!!!

hello! :D:D

how's everybody?

it's so cold here, it's been snowing all day. brrr... it's like Christmas. i sang all day Christmas lights.

Hi Amy, Hi Linda, Hi Tamara.

How are you doing? Everything okay? :nice:

It's pretty stormy here ... I'm almost afraid to go outside.

I remember obsessing over the photoblog in this thread, way back when. Good times.

Hey Tamara and Imke

It's not snowing here yet, but my friend who's in other town called me while ago and said there was snowing. I wonder when it's gonna start snowing here. It's really cold here though so I wasn't surprised if it would start snowing here in few days. The autumn colors outside are very beautiful, there's yellow and orange everywhere.

Ugh I hate storms. :\ well who wouldn't? though sometimes it's a good reason to just stay inside and watch movies and stuff. :P

Hi

I'm so surprised, that in Finland doesn't snow, and here, in Romania does. It's weird. It's snowing right now again.

I have to go now, talk to you later.

It IS weird! :D but in Lapland it has been snowing quite long now I guess and as I said it's snowing somewhere else in Finland, just not in this area where I live. I think it's not gonna take long since it's snowing here also!

Talk to you soon, bye
