So who is camping out to see this at midnight? Anyone catching it this weekend? I am looking forward to seeing the flick... I did enjoy the book, its my favorite by far in the series.. I hope the movie does the book justice..

Carla, I haven't seen it yet (I'm waiting to go during the day when all the kids are in school), but according to all my friends who have seen it and the reviews I've been reading on TwilightMOMS, it's 100x better than Twilight.

 

The sparkle effect is more believable, the CGI for the wolves is spectacular, and the film flows much better and has a better sense of what the book was about.

 

Also, everybody is in agreement that the acting has VASTLY improved. And Taylor Lautner actually makes the character of Jacob less annoying than he is in the books.

 

Hope that helped. All my friends who saw it at midnight are planning to go see it again and these aren't your normal, "Twi-Hard" fans. These are just regular fans who read the books are interested in seeing the movie. They loved it so much they're going back.

I'm seeing it tomorrow. I've heard from friends that it's a whole lot better than Twilight was.

The soundtrack seems to be pretty good. And if Thom Yorke wanted to be included in it this time as oppose to just having 15 Steps in the end credits for Twilight.. thats gotta stand for something.

 

- I will admit this, I was kinda forced into reading the books, but in the end I am glad I read them, and to my surprised enjoyed them. I am not 'obseesed' as some of my friends are, but I can appreciate the story and the method of the movies. Can't wait to see the movie...

IT WAS SOO GOOD!!!! in my opinion at least!

i saw it on thursday night at 10 with some friends and it was soo good!!

im not sure when any of the songs were as i didn't listen to any of the songs on the sound track other then the death cab one and the band of skulls one when i saw them live. I will listen to them no though and see if i can figure out when they are!

BUT i HIGHLY recommend it to everyone!!! even if you havet read the books i think you will still like it. Im going to see it again tomorrow with some more of my friends i am so excited to see it again lol

I just saw it!

It was definetly great, way better than I thought and far better than I expected

New Moon was great. Twilight sucked compared to this one.

I know, my girlfriend kept on screaming all the movie and even afterwards she's like all traumatized hahaha.

 

There was just one scene that fucked it up, you know, the one in Aro's mind, Edward and Bella looked incredibly stupid.

 

My god all the girls in the theatre were screaming like crazy and saying stuff at taylor and rob but specially taylor. Fortunately my gf did not that much.
