i ordered my tickets for Coldplay in Bogota Columbia march 4 2010 on Nov. 1st

 

i got a conformation email but its in spanish!!!

 

im really nervous cuz they should have been here by now right?

 

anyone whos ever ordered tickets internationally tell me how long it took

 

if anyone oyt there speaks spanish... could you translate the email for me if i forwarded it to you?

since i could half way pay for car insurance with the money i spent on a non refundable flight ticket

I didn't receive my tickets neither... and I'm worried too... so worried that I sent them an email (in english) asking if it was normal taking so long or if someone else ould pick them up for me...

 

they answered me that in could send a letter authorizing someone to claim the tickets for me with a copy of my documents...

 

I sent another email asking if the tickets are/were sent at all to me... or until when can I claim them in Colombia... so far no answer...

well... I just got the answer... and they don't send the tickets to outside Colombia... which they didn't say when I bought them...

 

here's their answer:

 

"our company send the tickets in domestic address only.

 

You can claim to the tickets Today or when you do want, please following only one of the next steps:

 

1. You can give a domestic address and id of the authorized person and we send the tickets in the next 72 hours.

 

2. You can claim to the tickets in a sales point, see one near of you home in the next link: http://www.ticketexpress.com.co/component/content/article/35/219-anamed.htm

 

2. you also can claim the tickets in the ticket store the same show day"

im soooo glad they arent mailing it because im moving in january

 

id have nightmares of it being sent to an empty house

or the plane carrying my tix getting struck down by lightning and my ticket to eternal happiness sinking to the bottom of the sea of the cost of florida!

Guys this is really embarrassing... All this misinformation. :facepalm:

 

But don't worry, they won't sell your tickets to other people. I live in Bogotá and I bought my tickets about a month ago by internet... I was also a little worried because I hadn't got the time to go and get it to the sales point and the Platinum section tickets had been already sold out (I was worried that they might sell mine). So I called and they basically told me that there was no problem and I could go and get my ticket anytime I wanted (even the same day of the concert).

 

I still haven't gone. I hope tomorrow. :sweatdrop:

 

So If you come here some days before the concert you will surely get them. Don't worry.

I did the same,i bought Brazil tikets and im picking up them the day of the gig :smug:

I live in Barranquilla, Colombia and i bought 2 platinum tickets the very first day they were on sale, and I received them almost a month after that, because I was pretty much calling them everyday to ask for my ticket. As far as I know, they had technical issues with the printer and the special paper they use fo it, at least that's what they told me, but i'm sure you will get your ticket.

I would love to meet all you on Bogota's airport or somewhere else, so we can prepare for the concert. There's a big group of people going from Barranquilla to the concert, so we will have fun.
