Another amazing talent from Manchester. God I love that place. Electronic/Rock sound you'll enjoy. Debut album comes out this month..

Meanwhile, lead single 'Doubt' is superb.

Their debut got an 8/10 from NME. Nice.

  • 3 weeks later...

Been listening to this band in the past two weeks. They are great. Lovely style, great energy and just a slick mixture of electro rock :)

Tracks that stood out so far:

-Acolyte

-Halcyon

-Counterpoint

-Doubt

Give them a whirl!

I've listened to like on song, Acolyte. But I liked it

I checked this band out to see what all the fuss was about (Radio One just seem to hype them up and talk about them endlessly) and found myself a little disappointed.

It's nothing special, I mean the songs are solid but I can't see why there is so much hype about them. It's nothing particularly new or original and i'm sure they're all nice guys but I found it a little uninspiring and flat.

Okay everyone.

I am a religious Q reader and several months ago on the back cover of one issue was an ad for a band I've never heard of called Delphic.

I youtubed the songs and had to download the album (not released here yet!)

The album is so brilliant, so is this band.

It seems like a New Order revival with additional post-punk.

Acolyte is a GREAT album and anyone who can get a hand on it, I suggest you do.

Here is a link to one of their songs, Counterpoint.

I wonder when we're going to start hearing more from these guys?? I know it's not all that long since they stopped touring but still...

I'm hungry for moooooore Delphic :D

I'm sure we'll hear something from them soon enough.

I want to say they are recording, I've listened to their debut a tonne of times, so hopefully the second album comes soon! :)
