Acquiesce
I'm looking for a new guitar - an acoustic one - without cutaway - dreadnought I don't know much about guitar brands , I only know Gibson, takamine,Art lutherie,Martin, fender Any recommandations ? Thanks!
princesanji
ok: NO fender (they do electrics very well, but screw up acoustics gibson; very expensive, i'd choose another brand try the guitars from Crafter or Takamine, they have very good ones for a fair price! but have a look and try them out at your local store! you MUST do that! watch out that you have a massive wood top.... and it needs to feel and sound right to you ( = the most important thing!) also: how much do you want to spend? are you a beginner ? (or why else don't you know about guitars?) do you need a pickup system? but the best way is always to go into a store and play all the stuff you want - if they won't let you, it's a bad store and you'll have to look for another one. PianoRocker
Make this list for your self: 1: What's my guitar playing skill? 2: What for guitar do I want, beginners? Mid or pro... or something else? 3: How much do I play? 4: What will be my future with the guitar? 5: How many money do I want to spend for the guitar? 6: Do I want to record the guitar for an album? 7: Do I want to perform with the guitar? 8: What style do I play? 9: Did I ever had a lesson? 10: Do I need it for a band? Answer these questions and post the result, this will help finding a well priced guitar. You don't wan't to buy an high priced Gibson, but just started playing.. And another good brand: Taylor

princesanji
ok, i guess you are looking for a Guild GAD 50E! about 800€, pickup system, dreadnought without cutaway, available as sunburst and natural. (chris is using a guild guitar at the moment, btw.) or try a MARTIN GUITARS DX-1E (~700€) TAYLOR 210E NEW (~800€) but you need too try that out, hear the sound and feel the guitar anyway!
