Hello there,

I am a huge fan of Belgium and I know they have very very good artists there who are underrated. So I thought maybe I should start a thread just for this country and its music. :wacko:

 

I am far from being an expert, really, and I sure hope that other people post artists on here and some songs. If any Belgian coldplayers want to help me, please go ahead :D

 

 

So first artist, one of my favorite of all time is Novastar, the band of the fabulous Joost Zweegers. I love all 3 albums of this artist and I seriously think he should be more known.

 

These two songs really got me into him.

The next artist collaborated with Novastar for a couple of songs on Novastar's second album. His stage name is Ozark Henry, though his real name's Pete Goddaer, and he's a singer songwritter.

Next one, Milow, really got a lot more attention from around the world because of this song, which I think is a very good cover :)

The next one, Bunny, really isn't known, yet I love his album Play To My Own Tune. This song is very calm, but listen carefully to the lyrics, some of the best I heard.

The next two artists, I don't know them very much, but I came to like these two songs a lot.

 

Absynthe Minded

This song, Envoi, was filmed in Ghent, the most wonderful city I've ever seen :)

dEUS sounds a lot more rock-sih than what I've posted so far, it sounds very good actually! A bit grunge/experimental rock, really not bad!

Hahaha Daan reminded me slightly of Jonny Cash, really, but it's very good :D I like it, I'll definately download this song :)
