^Fuck no.

Hey, a girl can dream that her team won't choke can't she?

Besides, I don't see why Phillie fans hate them so much, its not as if they've been big competition lately.

^Because the players are fucking annoying and have awful sportsmanship. If I see Jose Reyes dancing around the dugout and running around the bases with his finger in the air one more time I think I'm going to puke.

Thank you, Marisa.

Psh. As if no other players in the major leagues do that. I sense personal vendetta.

Thank you, Marisa.

Anytime

Some other players might do it, but we all know Reyes does it the most. He's a cocky asshole who acts like he's the greatest thing since sliced bread. And the Phillies don't do that, they all have good sportsmanship; unlike the mets. You know it's true, you just find his dancing and handshakes amusing so you don't have a problem with it.

Yep, personal vendetta. ;)

But seriously, whether its Reyes or anyone else from any team I would rather they show some sort of emotion or celebration when they do something right and an expression of disappointment when they do something wrong during the game. Maybe its just me. I don't know, but I'd rather they act like they care about the game in those forms, care about playing well, and show sportsmanship by still smiling, shaking hands and congratulating each other on a game well played at the end of the day.

And, no, I don't know that all the Mets are assholes with bad sportsmanship and all the Phillies are angels. I do, however, admit my team aren't all angels and that your team aren't all assholes. You might want to try it sometime.

I never said all the Phillies are angels, just that they all have good sportsmanship. I said you know that Reyes is cocky in all his showing off and dancing etc.

Don't put words in my mouth.

Fine, I'll rephrase though it's a logical conclusion that you believe your team to be all great people and believe the Mets are not from your comments about sportsmanship, who has it and why you hate the Mets despite them not being major competition. I admit I extrapolated from your comments.

"No, I don't know that all the Mets have bad sportsmanship just as I don't believe all the Phillies have good sportsmanship. I do, however, admit my team don't always act in the best manner and that your team often displays good sportsmanship. You might want to try it sometime, it really relieves a great amount of unnecessary hatred toward baseball players."

And for the record, I don't know if hating one players antics is enough reason to hate an entire franchise.

I have every reason to hate the entire franchise, it's baseball. It happens. Jose Reyes is just my prime example.

Anyway, I'm so excited for opening day!!!:wacky::D

I hear Kyle Kendrick is doing great in spring training :shocked3:

I do hope the Red Sox get back on their game again this year. Last year they were so... so... pathetic. :uhoh:

But of course, when it comes to a Boston/Phils game..

GO PHILS. :smug:

I see what you did there. Very clever. :P

Houston beat the Mets yesterday 8-4. YES! -fistpump- Santana didn't do so great yesterday. Brett Meyers ended up getting the win.

I knew Phillies nation would be happy about that. :nice:

Too bad Berkman didn't play. BOO. :disappointed: I hope his knee is getting better.
