March 5, 201016 yr Some people clearly need to get over themselves before they explode. are you refering to me? Erm where did I explode? why do I have to get over myself?:wtf: I just said my opinion
March 5, 201016 yr this thread: :facepalm::facepalm: germans demand Corfu from Greece??????????WTF??? Bild Zeitung demands Corfu from Greece..... and this well chosen pic of Angela Merkel: :facepalm::facepalm: Before you make fun of the proposal, look at what's currently happening: The Greeks are demanding cash from the Germans. They got themselves into this problem - now it's time for them to pay up.
March 5, 201016 yr Author Before you make fun of the proposal, look at what's currently happening: The Greeks are demanding cash from the Germans. They got themselves into this problem - now it's time for them to pay up. Yes, or the Merkelator is going to go after them!:shocked2::rolleyes:
March 5, 201016 yr yes, but they won't get any cash from the germans I am not talking about the topic....I just find that article lame
March 5, 201016 yr Author I hear they've already got their eye on Mallorca in the event of Spain defaulting!
March 5, 201016 yr I think the US government should sell off all its federal property, as well. Maybe we could give California back to Mexico. :laugh3: This is what happens when everybody is in debt to everybody else, and nobody wants to admit it. All the bills start coming due at the same time, and it's quite uncomfortable!

March 5, 201016 yr Mark, are you joking or what's going on in your head? Mallorca to the Germans? San Francisco to China? This topic? You make the world sound like a big meat market.
March 5, 201016 yr If you are joking, then why's it funny? It's so hard to know whether you're joking or you are just demonstrating your awfully low intelligence.
March 5, 201016 yr it's funny to say Mallorca should belong to Germany since most of the Bild Zeitung readers spend half of their lives on that island HAHAHA So funny

March 5, 201016 yr so why is this section spammed with those things?:freak: That's what I ask myself every day! :D As long as people are still reading these stupid articles these papers won't stop to raise the level. However, basically before filling for bankruptcy you have to sell some of your assets. That's what some German members of parlament said, nothing more. The whole selling-an-island-to-Germany plot has been created by the media, especially by the Bild-Zeitung. It's like the Sun or the Daily Mail in the UK, so these journals are technically just good enough if you run out of toilet paper. What I even find more interesting is the fact that whenever a country has an argument with Germany it doesn't take long until the whole WWII topic comes to surface again. It's just ridiculous. First, most of the Greek's gold (about 19 tonnes) owed by the Greek's bank of issue has been taken to Crete soon after the Germans invaded Greece in 1941. Afterwards the gold has been shipped to Alexandria (Egypt) and finally to London where the Bank of England saved the gold for the Greeks until the end of WWII. Now the gold is located in Athens. So Greek's vice premier Theodoros Pangalos made a false accusation when he talks about missing war debts. And secondly, even if Greece still demands from Germany to refund the war debts, it's time to discuss the situation of Greece after joining the EU in 1981. About 22% of the payents they got from the European Union were actually from Germany. I feel sorry for all Greeks though, because it was actually their government who is responsible for the bad economic situation of the country. Most of the people in Greece have to cut back in all aspects of life now which is definitely a big step.
March 5, 201016 yr Greece is screwed. But the real problem is going to be Spain. because it was actually their government who is responsible for the bad economic situation of the country. It seems like most of them want to government to spend. They're aren't rioting because they think the government has spent too much. Greece is in trouble because the majority of it's people want them to keep up the things that led to their financial troubles. This is why massive government and entitlement spending don't work. Everyone wants a free lunch, but no one wants to pay for it.
March 6, 201016 yr Socialists need to learn there's no such thing as a free lunch. What's with that saying?
March 6, 201016 yr Author What's with that saying? You are clearly just demonstrating your awfully low intelligence..........................
March 6, 201016 yr Author Greece is screwed. But the real problem is going to be Spain. Not once Wolfgang Petry becomes the new governor of Mallorca (which will be renamed Ballermann Province)....................... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFPQikAlm1Q]YouTube- Das rote Pferd am Ballermann[/ame]

March 6, 201016 yr You are clearly just demonstrating your awfully low intelligence.......................... I understand why the saying is applied, but I don't know why it needs to be this lunch analogy. It could be anything, like who doesn't want to pay for a round of beers. If you want to tell me I'm unintelligent, give me a reason. PS Learn to use the multi-quote function, you fucking idiot.

March 6, 201016 yr Author Godwin's Law: "As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin%27s_law The incredible thing is, on this occasion it was brought up by a German! Incidentally, Stephen Fry said the other day that as soon as someone brings that into the equation, it is pointless continuing with any such discussion. I reckon he has a point.
March 6, 201016 yr It's like the Sun or the Daily Mail in the UK, so these journals are technically just good enough if you run out of toilet paper. That sure sounds like some awful toilet paper. No thanks.
