Yeah, there's this beautiful place in Halifax called Public Gardens....only it's not so beautiful anymore. :( It's so weird cause you drive around the city and it's like a tree graveyard. :cry:

yea my roomate keeps mentioning that place as where everyone goes to get their prom pictures taken or something

Yeah that's where I went for prom pictures. And there's also a really popular place called Point Pleasant Park and over 50% of the trees there came down...so now it looks ugly. :cry:

I know. :( They won't have this place totally cleaned up until after Christmas probably.

so sad, i hope the federal government gives some aid because its going to cost so much money

I'm sure they will. Military dudes from NB and Maine are up here to help with the cleanup too. :)
