What's it like and what does it do? Is it like the Coldplay hub that was knocking about on the official site or am I way off??

 

What's the downloading/file sharing like? Because if its ok it might take some pressure off the bandwidth allowances for coldplay.org which tend to get a bit tight around the middle of each month.

Whenever I'm on I'm the only one there :(

well there is no real limitations on what is available to share

 

it's direct file transfers via remote source with variable connection speeds. I was averaging about 16kbs from myself to thom last night which is ok(ish) but clearly not nearly as good as the CP server. i guess any host will also want to limit the amount of connections / dloads at any one time for fear of servere impact on bandwidth. so i guess it's a fair cop :D

maybe its worth looking into a coldplaying hub with direct connect where MP3s ARE allowed :idea2: :D

that would indeed be the mutt's but i don't know if it is realistic given our fairly small community :(
