Me too. I had mouth surgery in the middle of my braces term and Invisalign didn't have what was needed for the operation and following process.

I got mine off 3 days before I turned 18. 3 days. I bet you won't have to cut it as close. Just mention to the ortho that you really want them off by 18...they tend to schedule your visits closer together a bit to help speed things along.

 

Show us all a picture of them pearly whites when they're off (something I didn't even do shhhhh...)!
