CD Plus shut down, so thats one less independent record store. But Taz records is still open. Last year they had Joel Plaskett in as in in-store guest, it was pretty random. I actually forgot it was record store day when I went in, and I was with a friend who loves Plaskett. So I just pretended I knew exactly what was going on and that I planned to bring her to see him play :P

Blur is gonna release a song prior to Record Store Day. :awesome:

I have 3 indie stores in Lisbon, they are all a bit away from each other,but ill manage to visit all :) its 1st time i hear about this day, and its making me crazy! I´m vinyl lover and i really love those indie stores :) it´s amazing the stuff you can find there!!

Well, I had a lot of fun. The people playing instore were rather crap but I had fun flicking through records and watching people compete in Beatles Trivial Pursuit to win the remasters!

 

I got myself a Friendly Fires single and a Cut Off Your Hands single (both records of course...)

I didn't get much as I had hardly any money...

I wish I was in England today. I am reading reports of fans lining up since 3am to get the new Blur single (which is amazing by the way i have had a listen).
