Sorry for the multiple posts Ian, just trying things out as I go. When I try to edit a previous post, after I finish and try to save, it comes up with the following error: THREAD ERROR - the page you are visiting is invalid

The app costs $2.99 and I'm on my iPhone right now without the app viewing it just fine. I don't think it's worth the $2.99.

is the free one not of any use? Different screen layout?

From what nanda said earlier, the free app is read-only, you can't post anything. But I didn't try it, so I don't know.

 

As far as the screen layout, I'm not sure if this is what you are referring to, but even the paid app looks nothing like the pc/laptop version of coldplaying. I could figure out the navigation just fine, but it doesn't look the same. And posts don't show up automatically, you have to keep going to the refresh option.

Will try it on Nokia asap!

From what I gather, the site works on the iPhone perfectly fine with no app at all. With the safari browser you can view the site and all forums as long as you have a good connection. My iPhones internet is just as fast as my home computer internet. USE SAFARI PEOPLE! It's free.

I admit that Safari works fine, but it's annoying to have to keep zooming in and out, etc.

What about Windows Mobile? :(

Not going to burst the app's bubble but if you turn the

iPod or iPhone sideways using safari you can reply view smilies and all that jazz. When I get the chance I can try to take some screenshots of the site on safari vs the free app. ;)

I have the iPod Touch, not the iPhone, but I can view the forum and post just fine with Safari. It's a bit slower than my laptop, but it makes up for it in convenience.

does it have to be a funky monkey touch screen nokia or will my 2730 do?
